About us

Who we are

We believe a good reading culture can uplift a society and therefore create better outcomes for same society.

The Sam Momah Foundation is a duly registered not-for-profit organization in Nigeria (CAC/IT/NO 113181) and was set up in 2018 during the 75th birthday of its Founder, the late Maj. Gen. Samuel Ifeanyichukwu Momah, Rtd. Its major focus is to spur a “reading revolution” in Nigeria and beyond (where possible). Sam Momah averred that a poor reading culture was a bane to Nigeria’s greatness.
Slogan

Our approach

Our Mission
To provide reading infrastructure in Educational Institutions whilst also encouraging reading competitions amongst their student.

Whether in the cities or in rural Nigeria, we will make sure that individuals and educational institutions get necessary aid that meets them where they’re at without bottlenecks.

Our Vision
To be at the forefront of campaigns geared at reviving the reading culture in Nigeria and other jurisdictions where necessary.

We wants to see a nation where every person especially the young ones have unhindered to books, educational resources and safe spaces for reading and development.

Some Stats

The steady decline in the educational sector and human capacity development generally, and the need to take necessary steps are the factors propelling us in the design and implementation our numerous initiatives.
